Wow, I haven't written in this thing in a long time... Guess I haven't had much to bitch about. Heh heh.
Can't think of much to write about now either. I don't even know why I bother having this thing. I guess so the 4 people that read it can continue to read it. Or at least check it since there's rarely anything to read. (You go, four people! Now that's dedication!)
So here's a special message to each of the four people:
1) OMG LARUKU @ Otakon. w00t!!!!
2) Hey DADO.
3) Where's that pig picture you promised?? Oh wait... Just got so used to asking. Heh.
4) Hope there's no arm-swinging going on today. Well, except by Domo-kun. Heh heh. <3

I find it difficult to believe how many licensed drivers there are that do not understand the purpose of the turn signal. To these people, I have this to say:
God made turn signals so that you can alert the people around you that you will be slowing down in order to make the turn. This gives drivers around you (especially those behind you) a heads up, so they know they will need to respond accordingly. Hitting your brakes, then slowing down, then putting on your turn signal is in NO WAY USEFUL to anyone around you. Putting on your brakes and slowing down without any apparent reason is not only an assholey way to drive, but it also makes people like me want to strangle you. (Or, if I'm in a good mood, beat the living shit of you.)
So retard drivers, please take note... It's turn signal FIRST, then braking/slowing down. Please help to save what little sanity I have left. Help save your own life by preventing people like me from wanting to kill you. Thank you.

Ok, forget that last entry. I need to amend my requirements for my 'new best friend'. You need to be able to speed up time as well as slow it down, on command of course. Anyone who possesses this talent (and lends it to me for an extended period of time) will not only get to be my new best friend, I'll also give you a dollar and a Slurpee.

Does anyone out there have a magic wand that can fast forward time and magically bring about the weekend?? If so, and if you're willing to use it on me, I'll be your new best friend. Thanks in advance.

Bored. Bored. Bored. I can't believe it's only Tuesday. I SO do not want to be at work right now. I need a job where I work two days a week and get the other five off. Same pay though, of course. That sounds like the perfect job to me. Too bad nothing like that actually exists. Well, nothing legal anyway...
Dunno why I'm wanting the weekend to get here since I don't really have anything planned for it. But I guess a lame weekend is still better than being at work, right? Maybe because this past weekend was very good, this means I am supposed to have a lame one coming up. Why can I not have two good weekends in a row? Is that too much to ask for. Apparently so. The weekend after this coming one is a FanForce weekend, so you know that will be good. Heh heh.
Wow, I am so bored I can't even think of anything remotely exciting to write about. Not that anyone really reads this thing anyway (except Heather, I'm guessing). Of course maybe if I told people I had one of these things, they might come read it. But then I wouldn't be able to talk bad about them anymore. Heh. Well, I guess I should actually do some work since that's why they pay me the (not so) big bucks!

Ok... I still have 45 minutes until I can leave work. I have work to do but I just don't feel like doing it. My brain is already in weekend mode... It's been a decent week. Work has been good, other things have been good. All around pretty much everything has been good. Heh.
I have no real plans for the weekend. I may have to go shopping (ick), but that shouldn't take long if I have anything to say about it. I know, women are supposed to love shopping but I don't. Once in a while is okay, but I am definitely not a shopaholic. An hour in a mall is too long as far as I'm concerned.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a good weekend. I also hope this last 45 minutes starts moving along faster than the rest of the day has...

Gawd, work is SO boring today. I can't remember the last time I had this much free time at work. It's all due to the fact that yesterday was a 'holiday' (for everyone but my apparently), so we got all our pending work done. Since the government was closed, we got no new work to replace the old work. So I am reduced to waiting. And surfing the net, which does get old after a while. I was posting some on the FanForce boards, but there's not much going on there, either. The world is conspiring to kill me with boredom, I'm sure of it.

Ok... So I went to Farpoint this past weekend. What a fun time! It was a smallish con (and smaller than previous years, so I've heard) but still a good time was had by all. The bewildering thing is that this is a con where there are usually a lot of Trekkies (Klingons everywhere!), but this time the SW fans greatly outnumbered the Trek fans. Hahahahaha, our plan succeeded.
I wasn't planning on getting into costume, but I was talked into donning the Palpy robes. I really need to finish that costume. The brooch is good, but I still need the walking stick. Also, I need to figure out the makeup. Other than that, the rest of the costume is pretty decent if I do say so myself.
Speaking of costumes... what should I be at DragonCon this year...? If I were smart, I'd figure it out now and start working on it now. But this is me we're talking about here. I don't plan anything this far in advance. Last year TK and I started our DC costumes like 2 weeks before. Talk about procrastination...
I guess I should get back to work. Bah. Work just isn't holding my attention today. And I have the Kenya lion song stuck in my head.

Hey, remember me? I thought not. Oh well, your loss. Heh.
This weekend I am going to Farpoint, a sci-fi convention near Baltimore. It's time for the SW fans to overrun the Trekkies' domain once again, ah good times. I don't think I'll do any costumes, no time to get them ready. I'll just go and have fun. Heather will be at Katsucon (Dr Cube! Mwahahahahah!).
This past Saturday was 'SlackerCon'. An interesting night indeed: Old faces, new faces, drunk people and really crappy service. Treebeard the waiter would have been much more helpful, I'm sure. (And that's pretty sad!!) Still, a good time was had by all (I think), and that's all that matters.

Yeah, it's been a while, I know. But does anyone really care? Probably not. Work has been SO busy. The busiest it's ever been which doesn't make sense since it's the holidays. Oh well, whatever.
Let's see, what have I been up to? Not much. Saw Duran Duran, got front row in New Orleans (sweet!) after some crafty planning with friends. Hehehehe. Went to Florida to visit Dad and go to Disney (of course). That's two trips to Disney in one year, go me! Had a nice Christmas and an uneventful New Years.
Saw ROTK yesterday finally. Excellent movie, just too damn long! I'd like to see it again but I can't bring myself to sit in a movie theatre for over 4 hours again. I'll just have to wait for the dvd I guess.
Oh and I almost forgot, after an extended absence, here is the WWHFLT: pizza. Blah, but at least it was from Pizza Hut this time.

Damn, people suck. Just thought I'd let you know.
I need a new layout. Maybe Psymon from SSX3. Heh, he is a crackhead; I love him.
I am planning a super super last minute trip to Atlanta and New Orleans this weekend to see Duran Duran. Crazy? Yes, I am. But blame my friends, they roped me into it. But I lub them anyway.

Long time, no entry. Sometimes I forget I have this thing. Which makes me mad because there are always things I want to rant about and this is the perfect place to do it.
To the beer bitches that sat behind me at the November 9 Duran Duran concert: a) No, Simon is not a comedian. I'm pretty sure he knows that so I don't think you are required to scream it at him at the top of your lungs from the 19th row. You know, it is unfortunate that there were technical problems. But at least he was trying to do something to entertain the audience while we waited for it to get fixed. I'm not really sure what your heckling was supposed to accomplish, but if you were aiming to really piss me off, it worked. b) You are damn lucky that the tour program comes with a plastic sleeve. Because if my book had been ruin by your nasty-ass beer, I would have hunted you down and shoved it up your ass. c) Getting so drunk at a concert that you can't stand up is retarded. It does not make you 'in' or 'cool'. It makes you look like a complete fuck. Especially when your stretchy shirt is coming up and your fat rolls are hanging out. That is just hideous and no one wants to see that. Not even any of the members of Duran Duran, old hos that they are.
Oh yeah, as a side note, the concert was fabulous. I saw two shows and they were both superb. So all you people that make fun of Duran Duran can just feck off.
U2 DVD tomorrow. Yay!

Wow, I haven't updated this thing in forever. Whoops. Guess that's what happens when work goes uber-crazy... Well, here I am: back with a vengeance. Hooray.
Dragon*Con was a blast. H & I met the Tribe people so that was pretty nifty. We dressed up as Sith anf pirates so that was cool too. There might actually be pictures if H ever gets off her ass and gets them online.
I wonder what we're having for lunch today. Hopefully not something nasty.... I am hungry!

Ok, I archived all that junk. So if you're the lady from Connecticut Avenue, then you have to go to the archive to read my special message to you. LOL.
Heather and I moved the PS2 down to the basement with the big screen TV. We set ourselves up with bean bag chairs and all kinds of junk to make it special. It's pretty sweet. I just need to find a way to set up the monorail down there... ;-)
Going to see Dave Gahan at the 9:30 club July 20; should be pretty nifty. And I just found out that Blur is going to be there the night before! To go to not to go... that is the question. Hmmm.
